Does that make him awful? Not exactly, but I can't stand him.ДЎ active frame on most slashes. He's a very unintuitive character filled with a lot of limitations that you normally don't have to worry about with most other characters. People are obsessed with his hitboxes but don't seem to understand that they're good due to the size & speed of what they're attached too

I can go more in depth tomorrow but this is a bizarrely underrated character and it only took me watching some Yei vods to be convinced. Disadvantage is bolstered heavily by both jump count and especially Dimensional Cape, which has minimal lag when spaced from the ground. The former is bolstered by his speed, jump count, frame data, and ability to variably threaten people with a lot of moves - grab, dtilt, ftilt, falling nair, fair, jump read uair, dair through aerial camping, etc. His neutral is great and his disadvantage is great. None of this is counting his early combo game that can kill. Bair/Fair both have easy to learn partial hit confirms but also he has incredibly safe/fast moves like Smash, has some of the best edguarding into the game due to his fall speed and hitboxes, and he also can just, like, jump read you into uair > shuttle loop lol. He doesn't have issues kill confirming much at all not sure where this misconception comes from. He doesn't actually have bad hitboxes people just apparently don't use fair or understand that his fast fall aerials are hard to contend with because they are safe on shield.
